Somebody's Birthday

It was wonderful to have my family around on my birthday!




The boys had a ball playing games and keeping grandpa busy. They got really interested in the vacuum and the fact that it can suck belly buttons.



Is Josh heading off towards playing soccer or football? What do you think?

Softball Girl

This is my little girl playing city recreation softball.  Melanie has a great talent for softball.  She is the shortstop (she stops the short players from getting on base), has a great arm (the right one), is able to throw the ball straight and fast.  Her team has won all their games.

Leaving home

We had a send off for Matt at the house just a week before his birthday.  This was a whirlwind two weeks, from the day he first talked to the recruiter to the day he left for Basic Training.

Because Matt's birthday was coming up fast, Angie wanted to make sure he didn't miss out on the birthday cake.

Matt is leaving behind his best friend.

and "poof" he is gone...to return someday.

Well, it looks like it is time to join the family and share a glimpse of our life with ya'll.

Matt decided to join the Army and this is the family on the day he left.  He has been gone over 3 weeks, and we miss him. He has called Brittany several times and us once...hmmmmm.
